If you can afford me

Earlier today I was watching a show on VH1 called “Is she really going out with him?” It was about these girls, who no offense were a little dumb (more brainwashed than dumb really) that were dating these guys that were COMPLETE jerks. 

This was kind of a wake up call. Like “hey you’re just one jerk away from being those girls” you know? Even though those girls seemed dumb, stuff like that can happen to anyone really. You just have to be strong and unwilling to give 2nd chances with no good reason to avoid it. 

Anyway I was listening to my ipod on shuffle and I thought this song was fitting. You shouldn’t date someone if they’re a jerk. End of story lol. Pretty simple concept. 

Katy Perry might not be the best singer, but I really like the message of this song. Sure it sounds selfish that she thinks of herself so highly, but shouldn’t she in order to be treated highly? Makes sense to me. Also she’s marrying Russell Brand who I LOVE! I might steal him away from her… lol kind of goes against what I’m saying here, but it’s Russell Brand! hahaha/
